Dell D620 Laptop Duo Core with Windows XP | Review

Dell Laptop Reviews

The Dell Latitude notebook line is well constructed Business Machines. The lengths of the lines and XPS are higher than an animal that entry-level Inspiron series.

The casing is made of metal with plastic seat along the LCD. There are four USB ports for a variety of peripherals such as external hard drives can be connected. There is a headphone port and microphone and an output for a monitor. The keyboard is comfortable to the skin. In addition to the mouse pad, there is a pointing device with two buttons below the space bar to control it in order to move the cursor. The "spill proof" keyboard is one of the most active (I have only one drink at a time when he wiped spilled right next to the keyboard without problems in the function).

Wi-Fi capabilities are reliable and easy to configure. The hard drive is silent, like the optical drive. Light Strike Zone hard drive is resistant to falls.

The performance of the notebook is excellent with dual-core processors. This notebook easily handles virus scanner, working in an MS Office document, Internet browser, and music with no problem. Integrated graphics allows basic games like Tiger Woods Golf, the mafia, NHL hockey, The Godfather, for example.

Battery life is very good for the six cells (approx. 4 hours).

One of the biggest attractions I have for this line of laptops is the lack of 'swelling software' - the unnecessary programs that are installed on your computer (programs of study, several Internet service providers, advertising, etc.).

In general, a spill-resistant keyboard and hard drop zone, this laptop is called the daily commuters. This is not a Panasonic Toughbook, but it is to survive everyday use.

Bargain Laptop
I bought the D620 for my daughter at school when your laptop 2 years old, died of HP because of an overheating problem (long story). After verifying that the D620 work properly Internet connection and installation of XP SP 3, I went through one of the RAM chips (for a total of 1.5 GB) and hard drive from HP. After installing Windows 7 and again your data files (which actually did not expect a student to use the flash drives I gave for backups). Finally, I installed the software as Office-7. Throughout the process, led to the D620 perfectly. I tested it for DVDs, videos and office applications via the Internet (after setting up a wireless connection). This is a very good laptop, very good quickly and with a screen. Their only "deficiencies" in the specifications are clear, i.e. without a web camera, and no DVD burner slots. These are much smaller problems, given the price.

I have the same laptop at work for the last 3 years and is a workhorse. I can buy a new laptop for commercial use a few hundred dollars more, but I wanted the reliability of professional business notebook. I must say that this business machine used laptop works fine, except for three problems: First, the battery is only 5 minutes, seconds, the DVD-RW stops working sporadically (the DVD does not eject form consistent, and not always recognize the DVD or CD in it). He handed the laptop to my 11-year-old daughter of a couple of weeks after purchase (Christmas), so I did not hear about these problems until 2 months after purchase. Contact the seller, but the warranty had expired after 30 days after purchase, so I must buy batteries and the unit yourself. The third thing is loaded XP Pro operating system on your computer, but the recovery CDs were not taken into account; I hope the hard disk crash sometime soon.

A laptop in perfect condition for one of the other reviews, the reviewer is talking about would be a completely different machine to read. My family has two of them, and we have none of the problems already mentioned others experience. XP is a very stable platform and will live to see if Windows 7 is up to the hype. As for poor sound quality, they wonder why the comparison? I compared several different laptops and netbooks, and tinny sound in the D620. In addition, I hooked the machine up external speakers to listen to my music collection.
Let's be honest. If Dell built, shoddy equipment would not be in this business, provided they have been.

I do not have much money to spend on a computer and not all chain stores I went to buy a computer had the service or the option I wanted. I hesitated a computer "on line" purchase, but now I'm glad I did. The team was exactly what I (Amazon gives you more information in advance what you are than anywhere else I had tried to buy) wanted, and I have it in two days. I have no problem or complaint. Well done.

Excellent! Easy to use, expandable RAM, DVD / burner, a fast Intel Core Duo 2.0 processor, a large 224 MB graphics card, Windows XP Pro with the best of all, quickly and safely.
Expandable to seven victories. We recommend the purchase of this

was it easy to decide what I needed, the laptop came quickly, and it's great. My son uses it, I only had a small problem, the wireless setup, but he managed to do w / o help. Fast and many things loaded on it. Probably going to buy some for my husband!

More and more work, no issues for the price we paid! It is also very robust. I have to stay with Dell from now. I bought two Dell products from Amazon, laptops, and still work well. HP products bought (elsewhere), which broke a few months.

The laptop was delivered quickly and economically. However, the touchpad is very glitch and always sent the cursor on the screen makes it difficult for what I needed to click. In addition, through a fully depleted battery, lasting less than a minute when disconnected.
